How I did it: I am a city girl. Well, sorta. I live in Oklahoma City and am pretty well educated (in school to be an architect). I have always been enchanted by castles. Finaly I decided to do something about it. I plan to build my own castle, starting in a year or so. First I will build the Keep, about 3,000 sq. ft. The rest of the castle buildings and wall will come later. I will do almost all of the work myself, and build with split-faced CMUs. Does this sound crazy? yeah. Especially since I’m an 18 yr. old girl in my first year of college. But just watch. I’m gonna’ prove them all wrong and build me a castle!
