I’ve always been called ‘Rock’ by a few people (it’s a dumb joke about my surname) which I kinda like. It’s a big, blokey name. But you can’t insist on a nickname; it’s gotta come from other people. So I guess I’ll just wait around.
The nickname ‘Horse’ was from an ex, and I don’t think that’s gonna catch on amongst my friends . . .

And haven’t looked back. Sure, Europe was great and had a lot going for it, but the lifestyle here in Australia is awesome. The quality of life overall, from places (beaches, mountains, cities) to food (fresh fruit and veggies, meat and seafood) to the people (so laid back they’re practically horizontal) is just great. You kinda become a different person over here. And I like the me that I am here. Certainly I would never have managed to swim in the ocean before work each morning if I were living in London. Now, I know it’s not easy; there’s a lot of obstacles and it can be expensive, but DAMN IT’S WORTH IT.
If you want to do it, DO IT!
He needs to understand how unhappy that sort of behaviour can make someone. Sleeping around may be great at the time, but the lies and the deceit and the implications are FAR-reaching. I want him to feel as unhappy as he made me feel, so he can see the consequences of his behaviour . . . just ONCE in his life!
As you can tell, I’m over him . . .
