WELL MY LAST ENTRY I SAID I WAS BROKE AND THAT’S STILL THE CASE. BUT IN LIFE YOU HAVE TO TAKE CHANCES….SO I PURCHASED A ROUND TRIP TICKET TO NYC. I HAVE A FRIEND THAT’S GONNA LET ME CRASH AND LOOK FOR A JOB. IF I FIND ONE AND I LIKE IT THERE..I,M GONNA STAY, I AM SCARED, BUT AT LEAST IF I WANNA COME HOME, I HAVE THE OPTION. I LEAVE AUGUST 25TH AND TOUCH DOWN AT JFK AIRPORT AT 6PM…I CANT BELIEVE IT…WISH ME LUCK. ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE?!

Since returning from hawaii, broke, no job and trying to find my way. I knew the best thing would be return to school. This has been a goal of mine for the past 2yrs and I finally started the motions. I am a student of the University of Phoenix. I am taking online courses. My father was sweet enough to purchase me a new laptop, printer and broadband card to make sure I follow thru, without any problems. UOP excepted 24 semester credits from the previous school I attended, which means I should graduate within one year. I am very proud of myself and I hope to graduate! Going back to school and getting a degree is a missing piece in my puzzle to success.
I still want to move to NYC, but things have changed in the past few months. I just moved back to ohio from hawaii and i am not financially sound, as planned. NYC is very exspensive, so i dont want to go there without back up. I have a few friends who have been very supportive and offered me a place to stay, but I dont want to move with no money, job and plan. I also been thinking about atlanta as well. But for now i,m here in ohio.
well i,m officially broke again. Money goes so fast!! But I am not at all discouraged by this minor set-back. I look forward to changing a few things and saving some money this time around.
Wow, I havent been on here in about 6 months, but I,m back!!! And still in debt lol. As I last stated, I paid off my credit cards, but after returning home from my job in hawaii…I have been living off my cards, due to unemployment. The economy really is bad!! I am looking for work. So hopefully I will be able to pay them off again. But I have not created anymore debt, which is great as well. I,ll keep ya posted.
I,ve never had trouble making friends, but sometimes I have slow periods (smiles). Since I,ve been in Hawai’i i,ve made some wonderful new friends and from all over the world. This cruise ship is like a mini New york city. I have friends from japan, cali, nyc, arizona, wisconsin, virigina and the list goes on. Of course I may not keep in touch with all of them when I depart in march, but there are a select few who will be life long friends.

Well I,ve been in Hawaii now for about 2 months, time sure does fly, which is a good thing. The good thing is that Hawaii is beautiful, but the negative is this job sucks!!! Its like the military mixed with high school all over again. I work 7 days a week..and the pay is not what I anticipated…they cut hours due to being overstaffed. But I am glad I came for the experience…I,ve made some wonderful friends from around the world…I have even learned a few pharses in other languages. But the best part of all is I have no exspenses while on this ship, so I,ve saved about $600 so far. I still have 1 credit card to pay up and I want to purchase a laptop. I leave March 29th and I dont plan on COMING BACK!!!...So by that time, I should have saved at least $2,000…which will accomodate one of my 43goals…move to NYC. Thats enough for me to take a leap and go…everything is coming together…and each goal we all set has to be completed to help the next.!! I,ll have pics of hawaii soon ….thanks for reading.

well i,ve got some good news. I paid capital one off and I paid my platinum credit card up. I am so happy about that, 2009 is going to be a great year.
i got my 4th postcard today and it came from Pennsylvania!! Thanks sweetie…i appreciate it…
i had my first day of boxing yesterday,,, it was so fun, but intense. I am sore all over. My legs are burning and my arms are tire, but it was a great workout. The coach said out of the 1,000 people he trained, i am the fastest learner…i learned a combo and executed it with ease!! i,m on my way!
About 7 months ago I applied for a job in hawaii on a cruise ship…..they finally called me with my departure date!! I leave on Novemeber 8th. I placed this insert in the save money goal because this job is all about saving. You live on the ship for free and recieve free meals. You get paid weekly and the money stacks up in your bank account. I am so excited and relieved…when i come back in 5 months, I should have about 10,000 dollars saved up..its gonna be hard work though…i will be dorming with 3 other people and working 7 days a week for 5 months, 8-12 hours daily. But I will be working in a paradise i may never get to experience otherwise. I just hope I am making the right choice leaving my current job..but you only live once right??
Well i took a huge step in the nyc direction yesterday. I applied for three colleges in NYC, for admission in Fall 2009. I hope I get accepted to at least one! I am so excited…

I am so excited….i hired a boxing coach today. His going to teach me basic boxing skills and help me lose weight. I start next week…wish me luck. I,ll keep everyone posted on how it turns out.
MY REALITY Living paycheck to paycheck Hoping for hope Laughing for release staring at stars, but not reaching for them. I consistently fall short,allowing procrastination to tip the scales revealing a depressive reflection. My talents are tired my potential is weak, for they have been out of work and homeless for years.Crying on the inside, I ask God why? Then truth taps me on the shoulder and implies that I,ve been holding myself back. Afraid to coach my team of talents, afraid of failure and failure is fear of ones self. Possibility sits on the sideline patiently waiting to get into the game called “my life”. Age increases in numbers, while the world continues to move;I stand still. November 4Th will bring a change, and I will follow suit.I ask my talents for a second change to coach them and I ask that my starting five players be God, family, motivation, action and possibility. These players have been there all along, but they could not lead my talents to victory without my participation. My change will be truth, and the truth is I have control over my reality.
This is a piece I wrote about myself…it applies to me moving to nyc, finishing school, saving money and etc. I am taking control of the wheel finally. And I encourage others to take control.
according to the last entry i decided to deposit $50.00 dollars in my savings account. I am so excited because it’s still in my account, normally I would have withdrew it by now. ButI am acting like it doesnt exsist and tommorow is payday!!! yay, so i,m going to deposit another $50…$100 bucks here I come. It’s a start!
i go to latin clubs quite a bit and i want to learn this dance. its so sexy and fun. i know the bachata, so i need to tackle this next. i cant wait to learn!
my voice is beautiful ….but i am so shy at times. i think posting videos on YouTube would be great way to get positve and negative critiques . and hopefully bulid my confidence. first i have to buy a new laptop…oh theres a new goal (hehe). im gonna be a YouTube celebrity !!
