I’ve run every day for the past week and a half, except for two days due to a minor injury and a sleepover. I barely dragged myself out of bed this morning, but I DID do it, and I even ran outside. I did two sprint bursts during my half hour run, and walked only minimally. I’m so happy with this progress!

How I did it: I started working on this on a night I was having trouble sleeping. I worked until 4 in the morning, then went to bed. For the next few weeks, I carried a coin with me everywhere and practiced on the move. I still find time to practice when I have a quarter in my pocket. The key is really just to A-practice until you've got the idea, and B-do it regularly until you've got it down. Read how I did it…
Figure it out for yourself, my lad,
You’ve all that the greatest of men have had;
Two arms, two hands, two legs, two eyes,
And a brain to use if you would be wise,
With this equipment they all began—
So start from the top and say, I CAN.
Look them over, the wise and the great,
They take their food from a common plate,
And similar knives and forks they use,
With similar laces they tie their shoes;
The world considers them brave and smart,
But you’ve all they had when they made their start.
You can triumph and come to skill,
You can be great if you only will;
You’re well equipped for what fight you choose,
You have arms and legs and a brain to use;
And the man who has risen great deeds to do
Began his life with no more than you.
You are the handicap you must face,
You are the one who must choose your place.
You must say where you want to go,
How much you will study the truth to know;
God has equipped you for life, but He
Lets you decide what you want to be.
Courage must come from the soul within
The man must furnish the will to win.
So figure it out for yourself my lad,
You were born with all that the great have had;
With your equipment they all began,
Get hold of yourself and say, ‘I CAN.’

Wow, neh? I loved it….I want to memorize that, I think.
I had another angry night last night…re-reading an old story made me furious at my friends…they’re either idiots when it comes to writing, or they don’t give a crap about the stories! It made me so mad to remember how little everyone else cares about what I care about. Donovan invited me to vent at him, but I decided to sleep it off before I hurt anyone’s feelings…I woke up feeling better. I’d like to go running to cheer myself up, but I’m still in my PJs and don’t entirely feel like changing that. I think doing anything productive would cheer me up…all right…here goes.
