And approximately two years later, I now have an M.Ed. There is definitely a feeling of accomplishment that goes along with finishing a post-secondary program. Graduation is next week – thinking I’ll attend this one…

How I did it: It is always difficult to start over again since we tend to grow comfortable with what is familiar, even if it is not the best situation. But realizing that there are better things out there made this goal possible and worth the time, energy and expense. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I put an ad on the internet, got the word out and involved as many people as possible, decided on nice people to become his adoptive parents, bought a crate and had it flown in to the community, got Hardy in the crate and flew out of the community, rented a car and drove out to meet his new owners. My wife and I have a beautiful baby girl now. She is absolutely amazing and while parenting is a ton of work, I am trying to enjoy every moment. Already she is smiling, making crazy sounds, and growing every day. Life is pretty good!
I’m starting my Master of Education program in January 2010 with a concentration in Second Language Education. So, two years from now, I should be able to check this one off.
