Since the opening of the new exhibition, RED HOT: Art from China, at The Museum of Fine Arts I’ve wanted to see it fully; although, I got a glimpse of what the exhibition would be like with seeing some works that we placed in specific parts of the museum outside of its intended exhibition location. It seems there has been a surge of new art coming out of China by a specific group of artists that has describingly ‘bust the door down’ in contemporary art. I can’t wait to see it :))!!! Emily, you gonna check it out?? Maybe I’ll see you in the Cafe :))??!!!!

In Texas, any time there is a slight ‘bleep’ on the screens that there is surf, surfers are all over it!! While it is seemingly insane to be a surfer living in Houston, I take my memories from the shores of California beaches to sustain me in times of flat days. Well, today is not one of those days :)!! Today, buoys are reading favorable for offshore fetch; with winds sustaining at 3 mph on the beach; which meas waves will ‘clean up’ and be the most favorable for pleasureable surfing conditions at about waist-high. A buddy from Clute called wanting to ‘go down.’ so that’s the plan for at least part of the day. If you are interested in surfing and you want to check out what’s happening, go to: www.netsurfing.com and check out the surfside cam or click on the ‘surfcam’ links and choose ‘surfhouse to get up to date info on weather and surfing conditions….YEP
