We visited Calcutta over a long weekend. We didn’t sightsee too much, as we were there with the purpose of visiting orphanages there. Like all of India, it is a place of immense beauty and immense poverty all at the same time.

I need to add “Live in India AGAIN” to my list. I get more homesick for India than I do for the US.

Just finishing my time here... 4 years ago

It’s May ‘05 as I write this, and we are finishing almost three years living in Japan. It has been a fascinating place to visit and live. I wish we had remained on the local economy instead of accepting military housing.
