I have developed well thought out budgets, but the real problem is not making one, its keeping it. As much as I plan ahead, I always fail to maintain the level of self control necessary to reach my financial goals. As much as I try and save, every single month I tap into my account.
I think that I have to go through a period of learning to calm my desire to spend money on needless things. I need to be more aware of how much those cups of coffee I drink every day really add up to. How much money I spend at bars and lounges when I go out. Cabs, etc.

I work retail and luckily get a lot of Japanese Customers that come in. I try and talk to them as much as possible so that they can help me learn new words and phrases (a lot of them are very willing to help). I have also begun watching Youtube Videos with lessons, as well as working on my Japanese for Beginners work book.
Wish me luck.

Since the dawn of time, if dawn even existed when time begun, Mankind has felt the need to further develop their begin by improving themselves and learning new skills. One can argue that this has been done simply due to the need of finding a source of food and defending themselves from foreigner invasions. Yet I believe that in the midst of everything, Mankind developed because that desire to better itself did in fact exist.
By taking control of my finances I am simply trying to better myself and my situation. It is what it is.
