Tomorrow starts the 4th week without cigarettes. I have been using the patch and they, mostly, take care of the cravings. I have been told by other friends who have quit that I will always have the occasional craving. This came from someone who hasn’t had a cigarette in 15 years; she says she gets at least one craving a day. So I guess that’s just something we live with.
I did spend an entire weekend in Las Vegas without smoking during week 1; I figure, if I can get through that, I can pretty much survive anything.
Sadly, I have taken to bitting my nails again. I suppose that’s better than the cigs, but that’ll be the next habit to kick.

I was in Paris the summer of 1990. Of course we went to see the Opera house. I got some great pictures of the exterior and some of the main staircase. However, the guides were on strike, so that is as much of the Opera House as we were going to see. I hope to go back some day.
