...the first football game I ever REALLY paid attention to was Superbowl X (1976). After that, Lynn Swann was my idol, the Steelers were my team and I always hated the Cowboys.
They battled again in Superbowl XXX (1996). And the final score should have been really painful: Dallas 27, Pittsburgh 17, but the blow was softened by a really big square pool payout that final quarter (wink wink nudge nudge).
Fast forward another 10 years, and were it any other team I would probably cheer for Seattle. Sorry Seahawks.
Who would have thought we’d get a chance to see it this year??? These last two Sundays have been soooo draining, especially that freakin Colts game. I need two weeks to recover before Bettis’s Big Game…
