Yes, I started writing and… it’s a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. How often do we (and I mean all of you who have this goal) have these fantastic ideas rumbling around in our heads, only to find that when we finally spit them out onto paper, they don’t look quite as lovely as we imagined them?
Well. Perhaps I just need to practice.

Our first meeting!

Last week, my new book club met at my house for our first meeting. Each member (8 showed up!) brought suggestions for books to read. We voted on ten titles for the next year (skipping December and July. I was really excited to see the variety of books we will be reading—everything from Jane Austen to Maya Angelou to Dr. Laura. Should be a fun year of reading!
