Gosh, it is going slowly. I’m at a mid-length right now, just above the shoulders, and it looks a bit frumpy and unpolished.
The last time I had it shaped and trimmed was early December, so I thought that I could justify going in for a cut this weekend. I even went as far as to make an appointment at the salon but ended up canceling it after a long stare session with the mirror, where I decided that no, it doesn’t look that bad, and yes, it can wait a few more months. Must resist cutting!
I’m expect that I will fully meet this goal at the end of the year. I’ve easily got another 5-6 inches to get where I want to be.

After swearing off even decaffeinated beverages (which are often no where near caffeine-free), I have really been missing coffee. I went on the Teeccino website and realized it is sold in a store near me. Today, I picked some up some Almond Amaretto and it is pretty frickin good!
It looks quite like ground coffee, smells like coffee, and tastes like a nuttier, lighter blend of real coffee. Very satisfying. You should try, especially if you are sensitive to caffeine.

Not a bad price, considering it was from a health food store. And it was a dollar cheaper than on the website! This store also sold low-acidity coffee, which is better for your body and not as bitter as the normal stuff, which sounds like a good idea.

I was offered a position last week at a new job, and I accepted. Still a temp, but the contract for this one has a set time limit, so I won’t be left forever wondering about “possible future openings.” If they like me after one year, they will try to hire me. Simple as that. This is a bigger, healthier company and it is in the field that I wanted to be a part of. I also make more money in this job, which is insanely awesome.
I’m not ready to say that I’ve completed this goal until I decide that the job is indeed a good one. The people were very nice, it is an impressive facility, and the career path looks very promising, so I’m sure I will be pleased.
