How I did it: Surrendered to the realization that I can be in love with many concepts in my world...and not necessarily one limited to being in love with a man. Falling in love with the beauty of life, good and challenging, is far more sustainable than a personal "relationship". No doubt there will be many more intimate relationships in my lifetime. The idea of finding only "the one" seems so limited and final. Why not open up my heart to experience lo… Read how I did it…

How to step Stool Decorating Project

How I did it: After procrastinating on the re-decorating of an old stool, I decided to have my 9 year old daughter give it a go.   We first spray painted the stool with glossy black paint and let it dry for a day. The next afternoon my daughter had a friend visiting so I let them use their own creative talents to design as they chose. How to gift to my brother a set of ceramic knives

thrilled.

How I did it: I had originally wanted to get the ceramic knives for my brother after spending Christmas with him and the family. Had no idea he wanted them until it was too late. Put it on the list for future reference. Well, his 45th Birthday is coming up on April 10th so I mentioned it to my Mother. Hence, she is getting them for him instead. Lost City Museum - Overton, NV 1 day ago

Went on a school field trip to the Lost City Museum in Overton, NV. The museum houses an extensive collection of Virgin Anasazi artifacts. Built on a ruin of an actual Virgin Anasazi pueblo, the museum has a reconstruction of what that pueblo may have looked like many centuries ago.

I found the “Pit House” fascinating, as it was an actual home built underground with a log “staircase” in which to descend into it.

It was a crazy time to try and read all the information with a bunch of kids trying to answer questions on the worksheet provided for them to fill out, so I have no doubt there was much more to learn given time enough to process all the information.

An inexpensive, nice day trip when combined with a drive through Valley of Fire for a quiet picnic and sightseeing.
