I’ve added five more contacts. I know I could have completed this goal but just adding a bunch of people at once but I really wanted the contacts to be people with whom I have something in common. So I added a few people who are also into historical markers and are connected with Markeroni.

How I did it: I had gotten out of the habit of reading and wanted to make it a priority. I found myself watching stupid programs on the television and becoming more tired and depressed. I set goals for myself. You know the ones like one book a week, or three a month. Then I decided to leave books in locations where I would read them. So I set one on my desk at work to read during my lunch break only, I put one near my bed … Read how I did it…
How I did it: Both of my cats are rescue cats. May I suggest adopting one or two from your local rescue or humane society. There are so many cats that deserve a great home Read how I did it…
How I did it: I decided to make a conscious effort to try new things. One way I opened myself up to new foods was by joining a local "co-op" and eating locally grown food. I discovered so many varieties of fruits and vegetables. Read how I did it…

I have to blow off a little steam. Good old Chase just lowered my credit limit to a hundred dollars over what I owe. They lowered it by almost a thousand dollars. What a never ending cycle. I can’t wait to pay this card off and never do business with Chase again. On the plus side this past quarter I lowered my $1500. This actually puts me ahead of my goal of being debt free in three years.
Well I finally got around to logging the entries for my trip to Washington, Ga. I didn’t really go there with snarfing in mind but Washington is a gold mine when it comes to historical markers. We actually went to the memorial service at Kettle Creek (site of a Revolutionary war battle).
So my count stands at 6. Only 44 more to meet this year’s goal.
