I'm doing 17 things
On October the 9th, I lost someone very close to me. We didn’t have an arguement, he didn’t say “I hate you” and just walked out of my life. It’s more than that. My best friend Devin Dabe went out with some friends. He was driving around in the passengers seat of his friends jeep. Nick McGlone was the driver. I wasn’t as close to Nick as I was to Devin, but he was a close friend of mine. Well, Devin was on route 68 in Georgetown when Nick crashed into a guardrail and Devin was ejected from the jeep. Devin died from his injuries. I miss him so much and it hurts to wake up everyday and know that i won’t see him anymore… Devin, was like my big brother, my jokester, my best friend and he’s gone. I just want to see him one more time. Just once more… This weekend, i’m going to go pay my respects to Nick and to sit at his grave and talk to him for a while. Maybe a couple of hours or so. Only time will tell, and only time can make this hurting go away. I’m just now writing about it because i’m just now learning to cope with their passing and Devin… not to hang out with Devin on the weekends is hard. But, i just want to see Devin once more… so i could have my chance to say good-bye to him. Just once more…
