Everything’s done (defense passed, thesis turned in) except for the irritating edits the grad school will doubtless require me to make. They’ve had my thesis for a month now, and said they probably wouldn’t get back to me for two months.

I picked up a copy of 501 German Verbs today. Mind you, 303 is only the number in my house. There are more at my parents’ place.

My thesis defense is scheduled for June 5th!

Although I only wear jewelry in 6. I got my right nostril pierced yesterday. Good times!

I’m a grand total of three books into this process, because I borrowed three books form my mom.

I’m going home after the Northwest Anthropological Conference ends on the 17th, so we’ll see how much I get done then.

I think I shocked the crap out of my chair. He didn’t try to shoot me down, but he did try to scare me. Which totally didn’t work. But he did sign off on my revised course of study, say he was excited, and say that we’d talk more after the conference was over and the new term had started. I’ll be in his office on the work day before the term starts. He just doesn’t know that yet.

This is definitely something I’d like to do, and I know there are numerous online programs for this degree. However, I really have no intention of going anywhere near any sort of schooling for a while after I finish my master’s in Resource Management. I need to pay off my existing debt first!

I got my eyebrow pierced in August. That brings me up to 9 total, although 4 of those are semi-retired. I might get my nostril pierced at a conference next week, not sure.

The last time we talked about my thesis, he told me he didn’t think I could be done next term. Well, I’ve since decided that I WILL be done next term, and that he can kiss my pasty white ass.

I have 47 pages of masters thesis written. In order to finish next term, I have to defend in May. I think I can have a finished thesis by May. After all, in the Education department, 47 pages IS a thesis. Not that I’m in the Ed department, thankfully.

So I’m taking him a revised course of study and forms for my two credits next term as soon as I have my first three chapters finished, which should be early this week.

So I’ve already got 1/2” lobes, 14g lobes that were once up to 6g, and a retired set of crooked lobe piercings that were once up to 10g. I’ve also got a right rook piercing and a left tragus that’s only 3 weeks old.

Piercings I’m considering for the future include eyebrow, conch, navel, and nipples.
