I used to roleplay Harry Potter stuff online when I was younger. It was through doing this that I met awesome people. Since I started Uni I had to stop because there just wasn’t time for it anymore, but once Uni is over in the summer I intend to submerge myself in the HPRP world again.

How I did it: Facebook can easily become the all consuming website in your life. You check it everyday, see what your friends are up to, what's your best friend up to when they're not with you? etc etc. But it's not always worth it. I always found myself feeling really miserable when I checked stuff like that. When you've got loads of work to be getting on with and don't have time to meet up with everyone it's not always good to see that everyone else … Read how I did it…
How I did it: There are always different ways to look at and approach things. It's easy to be egocentric and do the whole "they've forgotten I exist/why won't they phone me/why won't they talk to me?" thing, but I think you have to avoid that. I got perspective. Put yourself in their shoes and try not to think about your feelings. How would they view this? Also, get perspective on life; you have to think about the grand scheme of things. You can't … Read how I did it…
How I did it: It can take a long time to muster up the courage to sit down and write a song. Some people worry about which should come first, the music or the lyrics. I think the best place to start is the idea. What do you want to sing about? What do you want to tell people? What are you comfortable with? Read how I did it…

I heard about NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month (post everyday for a whole month)) last October and decided to take part. It’s a play on NaNoWriMo so most people do NaBlo in November. I did, and loved it, so decided to do it again in February. I then decided that I really didn’t want to give this up, so I’m taking part in it this month (March) too. I thought about blogging for a whole year, then one of my friends suggested it so I thought I’d go for it. If you want to read, my blog is here: http://usefuleuphemism.wordpress.com/
I post everyday so check back often! :D
