Someone, I think it was John Cage, once commented that as long as we are living, breathing creatures there will always be sound. Even if you manage to strip away all the outside noises, there will still be the sound of blood pumping and your own body working in various other ways. I want to have the opportunity to spend time in a room as close to soundproof as possible.

My first opera! It was possibly the most spectacular live performance of any genre I’ve seen. Only 99 more to go….:)
I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to do some modelling for a costume and renaissance faire company. Most of it was “in tail” using the mermaid tails they make. The best part was by far the underwater photography they did. I can’t wait until it warms up again and they plan more shoots! In the future I want to get better at posing and remaining still underwater. I would also like to find other photographers in the area and try to build some sort of portfolio.
