How I did it: 4:30am. Location: Pacifica,CA. I spent the night at Denny's sniffing coffee with my waitress friends, when one of them said she never went outside the state her whole life, and I couldn't believe her. How I did it: I met with the Dean regarding issues with me passing one of my courses, and was told that I would need to repeat first year. In addition, I found the courses in my department tripled in class size and halved exposure time due to budget cuts, and it seemed what I was able to take away from the lectures was becoming very limited (as a language major).
