One more semester of these pitiful online classes and I’m out. I have only done 5 classes in a semester once successfully… and it wasn’t when I was taking them online or had a job more than 25 hrs/wk. It’s going to be rough, especially since I’m working aroun 50 hrs a week and also have a life and 2 huge hobbies (photography and music).
I can do it. I can do it. Procrastination must not take hold of me on my last leg.

My grandma taught me when I was pretty young. For a long time I just played around and made things that were flat, like place settings. When I got a little older I made some scarves and hats (hats are hard!!) I’m kind of over that phase but I live in a warm climate and have very little use for crocheted items. I made the hats for a ski trip to Nevada.
Scarves are a good way to start. Simple but at least you have something at the end of the process.

I bought a mac mini a couple years ago and it just died. It had been abused a little (lots of airplane trips and sitting on a band studio floor with thick carpet and saw dust and suuuper load music.)
Anyhow I didn’t use it any more anyway (boyfriend has a G5) but I need to get a laptop for myself. Financial aid should be coming my way… if not I’ll have to finance it.
