So now tv is becoming more annoying than entertaining. I used to enjoy watching certain programs on Travel Channel, Home & Garden, & Food Network but now it’s such a waste of time. I would rather read a book. Even the sitcoms are just the same ol, same ol. TV isn’t what it used to be. Not to mention the bogus news reports we have in this country. People are lying left & right. BBC is the only source that is halfway trustworthy and will speak about events all over the world. The TV may be moving out of my space sooner than I thought.

The alarm clock is like the devil to me on some mornings. I try to trick myself by setting the alarm clock 30 minutes ahead but I still do not make it out of bed on time.
So today I was driving on a small street and a truck that is one car ahead of me was stopped in order to park. Well the truck did not signal and the car in front of me was at a complete stop. So I waited a second and saw no one was moving so I go around them. Well as soon as I get around the car in front of me the driver decides to go around the truck and almost hit me. Now I tapped the horn a few times and that put an end to that…thank goodness. So I continue up the street to the light and then I see the same car who almost hit me pull up beside me. I thought I was going to have to get ignant but I saw the most pleasant smiling face beside me in the car. It was an elder and he said “You almost caused an accident”. Now of course my first thoughts were “No way in hell did I almost cause anything” but instead I said “Sir I apologize. I didn’t know if you were about to park or go around the truck”. He laughed and said something about the truck not signaling and I smiled and told the elder to have a good day. I felt great that I kept a cool head and more importantly that I showed the respect due to my elder. It’s hard sometimes growing up in a place that treats the elders like dirt. That same arrogance can easily creep into the psyche. I am proud of myself for shedding another layer of my former self.
