I interviewed at Bastyr, SCNM and NCNM. I fell in love with the city of Portland and the faculty at NCNM outshone all the other schools.

Learn to knit (read all 3 entries…)
My first HAT!!! 11 months ago

It took about 2-3 year to actually get around to learning how to knit a hat, and mind you I used circular needles so I technically cheated, but I’m so excited. I can’t wait to make more!!!!

meet Matisyahu

I met Matisyahu about 3 months after setting this goal. I had wanted to met him, because his music got me through a very very very dark time in my life.
I met him after a concert, and was blessed enough to tell him Thank You for changing my life and giving me the strength (and faith!) to look for a brighter day.
I still play his albums when I am feeling like I need some Jah-spiration.
Matis, you are a lyrical genius and a beautiful soul! Much love you to Brother!
