How I did it: I just STARTED. I just started opening cardboard boxes, sorted stuff, and threw unneccessary stuff away immediately. I filled 16 large trash bags, also, I gave away a lot of stuff, to charity, a "for free" box, to friends...It was awesome once I realized it was not going to take weeks.
