I graduated from The University of Iowa in May 2010. It was the most surreal yet fabulous realization of my 20s. Nothing makes me more proud than looking at my college degree. Now if only I could find a job with that then I’d be all set :)

How I did it: When I was 15, I went on a one week vacation with some fellow students in my school (through my French teacher). It was a trip to London and Paris. In a way, I regret going so young because I don't think I fully appreciated how great of an opportunity I was experience. Yeah it was very tourist-esque but I loved it. I loved seeing the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumphe, and Jardin de Luxembourg. Even though I was so young, those few days travel… Read how I did it…
How I did it: My parents weren't sports fan but somehow, I was. I taught myself everything about the game of baseball (among other sports). Growing up in Massachusetts, it's no surprise I naturally became a Red Sox fan. Before my senior year of high school, I still hadn't gone to a Red Sox game. My friends couldn't believe it. For as much as I loved the BoSox, I hadn't actually gone to a game at Fenway?! One night, I was talking to my friend and he tol… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went with my best friend and her boyfriend and a couple of their friends. I'm not very outdoor-sy so I had some doubts. But I was hanging out with some fun people, so I figured why not? It's not like I had ever experienced it before. We ended up camping in the middle of the woods and we had to walk up this horrible hill that seemed to last forever. I thought I was going to pass out. However, after we finally reached where we need … Read how I did it…

Oops, I haven’t updated in a while … my bad.
Anyway, I’m only about four episodes away from catching up on season 5. I love this show way more than I thought I would. I guess it’s because as I get closer to graduation in May and starting life in the “real world” this show gives me hope that it’s not so bad. I find myself really relating to Ted but also a little bit of Barney and Lily as well. This show just proves that your 20s and 30s don’t have to be so bad especially if you can find humor in life. If anything, I’m now more excited than ever for the next step and for growing up. It’ll be AWESOME!
Well, it took long enough but I’ve finally finished the first season of “How I Met Your Mother.” Honestly, I don’t think I could be more in love with this show. I think I’m starting to garner unrealistic expectations of how my 20s should be, but oh well. I absolutely love this show and cannot wait to be caught up.
