I’ve been a vegetarian for nearly 5 years (which is verry long considering I started at age 11) and it is so worth it!No one in my family is a vegetarian and for the first 4 years none of my friends were either (I’ve since then met a few vegis and converted a few) so I was constanty surrounded by people eating meat and, I’m not gonna lie, it was very tempting. To help resist the temptation, I just looked at meat as a calf or a piglet, or whatever and no longer felt the urge to eat it.After the first few weeks, it strated getting a lot easier and by my second month I rarely felt any temptation at all.I was lucky though. My parents were very supportive of me and, though they did not refrain from including meat in dinners. All of the meat alternatives have made the journey so much easier. When eating fast food, Burger King sells vegi burgers. There are loads of others (I’m too lazy to mention them all) that are worth checking out.Trust me, becoming a vegetarian is one of the best things I’ve ever done.I’m healthier, I don’t feel like a murderer, and I am so proud of mysellf for what I’ve accomplished.Good luck to everyone!
