I remember learning English by reading the books that were very simple…See Dick Run, See Spot run..
Does anyone remember those books? (Probably showing my age here) Is there a French version of the books, or something very similar that will start you out in French like how we learned English?

I’m in the start up phases of a career in art. I haven’t quite made it past the “this is my career goal” decision, but that’s because I’m procrastinating.
I hear about all the starving artist jokes and it’s rather upsetting. Eventually I’ll have an art studio if nothing more than just for me.
My idea of an art studio is a tranquility space I can retreat to, with a gentle water sounds (like a small waterfall or something), very soft nature sound music, and a quiet place (not background noise) I don’t like caos.
I would like a roomy place that isn’t cluttered; and it has storage space so all the stuff isn’t laying around my work space.

I’m blogging about a book here:
http://www.sharkgirl.us/2007/the-abs-diet-and-other-stuff/
It’s a six week program to find your abs. I laughed when I first started reading it, but it’s working. So, I’m counting down the days. The holiday was a problem, so I may have to add a few days to my count down.
The book is called “the Abs Diet – The Six-Week Plan to Flatten Your Stomach and Keep You Lean for Life” by David Zinczenko, Editor-in-Chief for Men’s Health with Ted Spiker.
