I’ve been drawing portraits and such for…6 years now (not all the time). Let me tell you, it is so gratifying to have people just oh-and-ah! over something you worked so hard to accomplish. It is well worth it. The trick is really just to focus on the picture and find shapes and repeat them on your page. Quick glances from your picture to the real picture helps you to see where things must go, etcetera. Don’t give up, just keep trying. Your first peice of art isn’t going to be a masterpeice, but neither was Van Gogh’s or Monet’s either, haha.
