I’m thankful…
1. that I was able to figure out what has been wrong with my computer for the past few days.
2. that correcting the problem did not cost anything other than a little bit of time.
3. for the great session with the PT on Friday afternoon.
4. for N for watching So so that I could go to that great session on Friday afternoon.
5. for public libraries.
6. for my mom who is always there for me.
7. for the vet who has not charged me for any follow-up care.
8. for the friends who reminded me that I’m in charge.
9. for the afternoon of empowerment I felt when being assertive with someone who usually railroads me.
10.for So, even though she has been whiny for the past two days. ;-)

How I did it: In my town, the recycling is only picked up once a month. I live in an apartment with no room to store all the recycling. I found out where the our town recycling center is, and each Saturday, my daughter and I pack all our recycling from the week into our car and bring it to the recycling center. How I did it: I love Starbucks coffees. I just don't love the costs. While I didn't stop entirely, I stopped going there regularly. Now, I'll go on days when I feel I need a "pick me up." How I did it: I started a family through adoption. I did research on the internet, narrowed down my choices--I'm single, so that was easy to do. I’m grateful…
1. that I found a food my dog will eat, and that he ate quite a bit more today than he did yesterday (and by tomorrow I’m certain I’ll have found a way to get his meds down him!)
2. for my mom who found a way to come visit during the spring break holiday.
3. for my brother-in-law who tolerates and helps me through my computer issues.
4. for shelter and food for myself and my child.
5. that the Starbucks I went to last night still had pumpkin spice…it was an unexpected treat.
