How I did it: Started with being organized for organization's sake. Then applied techniques to things that are important to me. It's a fluid process, ever changing. I was finally organized when I gave myself the freedom to be less rigid with my new system. It really is about finding your own way. I’ve been using Omnifocus for a few months and it’s really taught me the basics of GTD. Reading the book now. I’m in the arts and tend to be a little “artsy” in my approach to organizing things (my thoughts included). But I’m a list-maker and GTD really scratches that itch.
