Well, sort of. The coursework part of my MA is now done. No more classes, which only leaves (only- hah, funny) the dissertation. And I do believe I hear the ominous cello of doom playing in the background. I’m not particularly looking forward to the actual writing of this thing, but I do think it’ll feel amazing when it’s finally done, polished and turned in.

Well, I left Japan this past July to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of York. It’s funny- I was more than ready to leave, but there are definitely things that I miss, and I’d like to go back for a visit sometime. I’ve been in touch with various friends who are either still there or have gone home as well; hopefully that will continue. Wish the U.K. had some kind of onsen equivalent, though- I could kill for a dip in the onsen after rugby practice!
