After a volunteering for over a year, I was finally offered a full time opportunity working for GDB! Not one bit of hesitation, I took the job with complete excitment. By the end of Jan I will have been there for 4 months, and I have loved every minute of it. I couldn’t have asked for a better job.
Now I can just relax and enjoy, although i am still set on becoming an instructor one of these days. I know I will get there, but why not enjoy the ride?

Alright well here I go again! This time my mom and I are crewing for the 3 Day in Philly. I am really excited to share this experience with my mom, both of us are so busy with our own lives that it can be difficult to set aside time to work on things together. I can only hope that this experience will have the same posative impact as it did between my aunt and I this past October. This should be a great time, and in a new location…I am STOKED.
Oh also this time around I have volunteered to be a mentor to a group of new walkers. I will be responsible for getting them motivated and on their way to having the best 3 Day experience possible
This tuesday I am going in for my “working interview” for Guide Dogs. I will be working with the training dogs who are being boarded before they are paired up with a student. I am super excited! I also have the opportunity to recieve an internship through the summer…maybe longer. Yea I am on my way.
