i sorta learnt to play guitar.
for anyone who is trying to learn…
DON’T LEARN TABS
they suck and are a poor excuse for playing guitar, grow up and play sheet music. if you don’t know how to read sheets, get someone to teach you. trust me it’s so much better.

my fingers are supposedly long, but even so it’s always hard to get the notes when you begin, it’s not an excuse. you just have to place your hand correctly when you play, again get a teacher to show you correct hand placement. thumb in the middle at the back, not at the top.

and as for chords.. well that’s how i play, i usually just play rhythm. and it’s a lot more fun to play like that when ur with a band. so learn your instrument. and get people together, it’s lots more fun.

I got a haircut TODAY. it was scary seeing it go from shoulderlength/edible to about 2cm. i half regret cutting it, but i know it was the best thing for a guy to do. especially since i got called a dirty hippie all the time, that or gay.
and i like hippies. but not being called a dirty one.

so yes long hair is so hot on girls and not so long is heaps good on guys, but make sure you keep your hair how you want it, always.
never let anyone influence you otherwise.

i had a job, but i got fired because it’s seasonal work. it sucks but i’ll live with (or without) it.

i’m keen to get a job in a bookstore or anywhere as long as it’s relaxed.
