Phooey. I’ll have to focus on some nice iron-rich foods for a while and try again.
And why does the finger poking part have to be worse than the needle in the arm? Ouch. Hee!

How I did it: Haven't had the time or resources yet to put together a light up lightsaber, but I did want to try some of the moves I've seen online, so I painted and taped up an old broomstick and it turned out surprisingly cool. In fact, I had to help my nephews make some, too, after they saw mine. At least I have one to play with until I knuckle down and construct a more "authentic" one. Read how I did it…
How I did it: First I had to be mindful of what was coming out of my mouth. I had to listen to myself and ask myself, if I was hearing that from a stranger, what would I think about them. That was interesting. Then I got into a pattern of using new words, and built up my vocabulary a bit. I found that I was expressing myself a lot more clearly and specifically. I wasn't just using the easiest generic word. I had to put more… Read how I did it…
How I did it: It took me quite a few months (almost a year, now!) to get into a habit of mediating everyday. And that was only after I got the hang of meditation in the first place.I tried different methods out, with varying degrees of success and found that simple was the best for me. I meditate best sitting outside and just listening to the wind in the trees. When I can't meditate outside, I find a quiet spot and usually play white noise o… Read how I did it…

Now that it’s cool enough to open the windows and get some fresh air circulating in here, it just feels like time to start cleaning and decluttering.
I’ve got the laundry running through, then I’m hitting up all the bedclothes, curtains, tablecloth, rugs, etc. That should keep me busy for a good chunk of the weekend. I need to go through the kitchen cabinets too, and get rid of any old food, empty containers, and gadgets and gizmos that I don’t need.
It’s a start.
Time to have more than coffee first thing in the morning. I bought some Special K bars for the on the go days, and good ol’ fashioned oatmeal, cereal, or toast on the other days.
I need to get some more food groups involved, somehow. Juice, maybe? Milk for sure. Hmm.
I can’t believe how out of practice I am at such a simple thing like breakfast, lol!
