I am a big believer in Pay it Forward. Kindnesses that I never expected have come to me many times over the years. Some small, some big and some HUGE. I like to think of it like ripples, that keep going on, when we pay it forward. So, I share this idea with you- it is from the FLYLADY- I claim nothing from it. I thought it was a nice idea, and an easy way to start a few ripples of kindness in your neighborhood, or office workplace- church, whatever! I enccourage you to be be creatively kind today!

I was born in Madrid. Well, on an Air Force Base near Madrid and lived there briefly as an infant. I visited several times as child. I have some family left there too. It seems lifetime ago and feels bittersweet. I want to go back someday- to stay for a while and reclaim a little of my heritage. I’d like to share it with my children.

I check 43T nearly daily- I rarely have more than about 10-15 minutes it seems to spend. I always intend to post. By the time I cheer a few and hop about reading entries here and there- I’m out of time. Poo. I’m busy these days- but it’s a good busy, you know? My older daughter is a Girl Scout and we are just finishing cookie sales. I bought 38 boxes. Yes. 38. They freeze well, all friends and family will be receiving them as gifts throughout the year. Ha! I do attend more meetings these days and I often bring a snack- so it will just be cookies for a while.
I continue to work on this goal and in isolating one of my (millions of) procrastination annoyances—I give you this handy tip.
Invest in a couple of the silicone oven hot pads or mitts. I always used to buy cute matchy match match pot holders- but inevitably they’d get dirty. I’d put off washing them, because they really never wash well. Then they are gross. But I don’t really want to go pick some up on purpose. I much prefer finding adorable ones on sale somewhere- of course! So then you either have crusty gross pot holders, or oddly shrunken and faded pot holders. The silicone ones I throw in the top rack of my dishwasher. Clean. Okay- they aren’t that attractive- but I keep them in a drawer anyway. I have PLENTY of other cute stuff.
I am free from the pot holder procrastination vortex.

It has been a difficult week. My computer crashed. KaBoom! I have so much to do to restore what is left of the previous system. I feel overwhelmed and it has been easier to not do anything at all. But I need it back, I’ll take what I can get, and be grateful for it. Ha! YAY ME!

There are many ways to pamper yourself, and this one certainly is enjoyable. Try it!

Well, one of my goals this week was to actually add an entry to my postings. I almost put it off, but the truth is I will smile in the morning knowing that I did compose an entry. In some small way perhaps that will inspire SOMEONE out there to complete the task they have been dancing around all day. You, reader! go ahead, you can do it- just finish your project and then it won’t hang above your head tomorrow. Then we will both smile.
