Still getting rid of junk but some has gone to the charity shop, some given away and a lot has been taken away in black bags. More effort required.

I played the violin for about 12 years when I was younger, not done much with it for the last 12 though. You can play basic tunes after a few months but to sound really good is going to take you a few years. After that you can just enjoy it. I definately recommend finding an orchestra to play with.
