I guess this entry ties in with becoming financially independent from my parents. I know that a big part of doing that is building credit. I don’t really have anything under my name except for a phone bill and i know that’s not alot. I definately wanna get a credit card soon as soon as i pay off the last couple installments to these dental surgeries i just recently had. I have applied for one before, but for some reason I’ve gotten denied for one. It’s rediculous. Maybe i’ll try to apply for a student one..wish me luck on starting to build my credit lol

How I did it: last june, i got my wisdom teeth removed. i tried to go to work but the pain meds they gave me were too strong so i went home stick one day. i called up one of my friends, marissa, who needed a ride home from school that day and even though i felt so tired, i picked her up. in the parking lot of her high school, it was taking too long for her to come out so i got out and just started tidying up my car. from a distance, i saw her walking u… Read how I did it…
For the most part, I am very financially independent from my parents, just not enough. I have an ok job working in a kitchen of a retirement home which earns me ok money for my age.
I pay for everything such as any toiletries I need, cloths, anything to fix my car, gas, cell phone, my voice lessons, anything for my room, and I also have health insurance through my job so I got that. Also, I pay for any medical expenses. For example, I just recently had a dental crown put in and just today I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. Yeah, my mouth is def in pain lol..
Seems like a good amount of expenses for a 20 year old, but what I mean is I want to be COMPLETELY independent. My parents pay for the big stuff as in my car note, car insurance (both under my parents name), and I am still living at home, which is ok for a 20 year old in my culture who is out of wedlock.
I can’t wait to be able to afford moving out, my own car, car insurance under MY name etc. etc. etc. This has got to be my BIGGEST goal right now. Can’t wait..
I definately can’t wait to finally meet the one who I will fall in love with, get married to, have children with, and live happily-ever-after with. I know this sounds like a fairy tale, but it happens to alot of people and I can’t wait for it to happen to me.
One of the best feelings in the world is the feeling of being head-over-heels in love with someone and frankly, I miss it. I can live without right now because i know i’m only 20 and i have alot of time, but it doesn’t hurt to dream. I hope this happens soon, but I know I will have to go through a few jerks to find that diamond in the rough..
