Shooting arrows and other new adventures

I have taken several archery classes at this point, and have been going to the range regularly for shooting practice. Check!!

I have also arranged – for when the weather’s warmer – to go hang gliding and to take a ride in an old WWII biplane. Sweet!

I DO need to get back out the the gun shooting range. Target practice is pretty fun. And I seem to have a knack for it…

I am continuing to develop my ukulele skills. I just need to be patient and stick with it.

Lastly, I aim to get much better at riding my motorcycle when the weather gets warmer again. My goal here is to get myself a new motorcycle as a graduation present (going for my PhD) this summer! But I need to be a more skilled rider to warrant the new purchase… More reason to ride!

Checking in with myself: Sometimes I wander off path or dawdle in the same spot. Must keep moving toward the end goals.

There are a lot of things I want to accomplish. Some are easier to tackle than others. Certain goals are a little daunting because they require me to have faith in myself as I leap forward into the unknown.

Other times, certain goals seem to squeeze out others.

It’s hard to maintain balance. I need to take the time to reassess regularly – and often – so that I can continue growth in all areas and remain on track with all things: health, career, hobbies, fun, family, intellectual development, skills, etc…
