The checklist

What I do:
1. Take Fish Oil
2. Take Vitamin D
3. Sit in front of the “Happy Light” lamp for at least 15 minutes
4. Exercise daily

What I WANT to do:
1. Stay in bed.
2. Eat Captain Crunch from the box.
3. Watch reruns of Bob Newhart. (Dear god.)

Fish Oil for a nice fat brain

My internist told me to take fish oil tablets to boost mood and overall health but I never really got in the habit. This winter I am taking them throughout the day. So far, so good. Keeping them in the freezer makes them more digestible, thank goodness.

Light up everybody

The small light therapy device I use is a great help in feeling more awake in the morning. I think I’m ready to graduate to the big desk light—I’m going to take the plunge and invest. Maybe it will give me a nice tan!
