I am a music hoarder, and a music obsessive. I am a musician and a music teacher, so I am all consumed by music. It only seemed logical that I should get an iPod. I have had mine for over a year now and I absolutely love it, I pretty much don’t go anywhere without it in my pocket or purse. The thing I found was that I always had music playing in my head, but now I can actually have it in my ears and my entire music collection under my thumb – literally. That is v.cool for someone like me. :) The only down side are the cord tangles, so I am looking at wireless headphones which will heighten the experience. Oh and if you have small ears like me, don’t even think about using the supplied earphones, they hurt and they won’t fit anyway. I bought white sony’s – marvelous phones….enough ramble. Go for it, buy a pod! and if you don’t want to spend the big dollars, then buy a small mp3 player that suits your needs. Don’t buy an iPod for image alone, you cash can be better spent than that.

One day I would love to save and move to New York for a few months, might take my Sis. Rent an apartment/loft/whatever and just chill out and get to know the place and the people. I’d like to go to ground zero and pay my respects, as the attacks happened on my birthday and each year I think about it. I’d like to explore museums, and cafe’s and restaurants and theatres and parks and art galleries – everything!, just take the city in then come home. It seems like another world from the outside, I guess I’d like to visit and determine whether it is or not. Weird thought, but I’m not exactly normal. :) I would love advice/information/thoughts from anyone who has done what I am planning on, just a few months.
I am really taken with Canada, it seems so beautiful and almost untouched. I mean obviously there are urban areas, but it seems to have maintained the beautiful natural elements too which I find surprising and wonderful. I’d love to one day live in Canada, I know some fellow Australians who do and they love it there. Some have even decided to live there permanently. So I’d like to finish my degree and then hop on a plane and live in Canada for a year and really experience the culture and make some Canadian friends. Ultimately I’d like to go to Canada and get work in bands, but perhaps this is a little adventurous. I will continue researching and dreaming, and one day within the next few years it will hopefully happen.
