Ni Hao,
I was working in Inner Mongolia a few years ago and found the people fascinating. I needed a translator with me everywhere I went, and would really like to be able to get along on my own accord. I think it would really be quite an adventure.

I started messing around with this book after I got out of high school, but never finished it. Now, my daughter’s in high school, and I gave her a copy of the book a couple of years ago. She got about as far as I did. I thought if I picked it up again, she might find a renewed interest in it and maybe we could work it together.
