my mind is often occupied thinking about how I can smoothly just stop working (or at least work significantly less). I know that money is no guarantee for a happy life, but knowing myself, working less would for sure make me happier. maybe I should start to look for sponsors instead?

but I am not crazy about Jacuzzi’s
I think it has to do with all the commotion in a jacuzzi,.
Once I heard about a dog who also loved the sauna.
after wet walks he immediately ran down to the basement
sauna and waited outside until someone would let him in!!
I will train my future french bulldog to do the same.

Somewhere I thought that 43things.com might actually change something.
Inspire me to achieve goals and have faith connect me with
people like myself. On the contrary 43things have just amplified my frustration
over unreached goals and the difficulties to connect and find the “right ones”.

it is a terrible fact that will likely not change in this lifetime. It hurts me so to pass people on the street (or anywhere) that oozes of low self esteem, most likely caused by their “lack” of good looks. There are girls that are scared to look you in the eyes, simply because they think they dont look good enough. In a bar or nightclub no one “sees” the average girl although she made the effort to put on her nicest dress and some makeup for the evening,. but if she was a hottie be sure this would not be the case. And this simply because of the looks..that in theory should not have to do with anything.
Everyone knows that the “average” looking girl may have the biggest heart in the world, the most funny sense of humour, the charm and intelligence etc etc ,, and many times she would outnumber the hottie 7 days a week, counting personal qualities, but in reality she does not get the same chance. yeah yeah yeah you think. so what? get a life, who cares…
But I do care. It is really unfair and I wish those girls would get some recognition for the qualities that actually counts.
How many of you have hooked up with a hottie just to find out she/he was actually nothing but surface? raise a hand.
I am no exception, and it is a good lesson.
Looks alone will not entertain you for long.
So to all you average people out there, straighten your posture , look me in the eye, smile, what you have inside you DO counts… and WILL count in the long run. Trust me. you’ll see.
This goal has failed big time and I consider to remove it.

I am still convinced about this one, but the question
is more about the patience and time it will take to
find the “right one”? It seems to be much as the
lottery. You know it is theoretically possible to win, but also
that the chance of doing so is microscopical.
Not to discourage you, but please give a minute and think about all the
“love” relationships you know. Amongst your friends, family
or colleagues. Honestly, how many of those seems to be
genuinely happy relationships? Not many I would say.
Too many relationships of today wander into daily routines,
quarrels about nothing or anything, boredom and frustration.
I do not say that a relationship is only about fun and
“easy life”, but is it so wrong to expect more?

but there should be a small pool of course, a nice patio, small garden easy to maintain, a barbecue, a spare room or two, garage.. a hideaway when getting restless in Europe. I will keep an old but functional cabrio over there. hanging out. venice beach to see the people, malibu to eat the seafood, LA to meet the people.
I will try to re-evaluate this goal. Indeed I will continue to keep chilled coca light in my refrigerator but I am on a health streak and will try to drink more water, and only use the coke for “special occasions”. I managed for 2 weeks already and it feels good. How about that?

I have always been in control. Always made the extra effort to be prepared and do the right things. But it is boring, is it not? A part of me wants to let go, be spontaneous, wild crazy and free, whilst the other one keeps me on the right track. Maybe I should finally delete this as a goal, and add something more, lets say WILD.
for example if I would achieve my goal to write and sell a script to Hollywood.. then I could become famous, but people on the streets would not recognize me. Got it?
but living in the city, and not having the time to get out enough in nature, I realise that I almost never see a wild animal. Before when I lived next to the a forest or the sea, I saw squirrels, deers, hares and other cute animals. Now I dont see anything of that anymore and it is sad. Hell, in Geneva you dont even see cats. Only dogs and birds.
I havent thought about it for some time now but today I read through the things that I´ve done so far and I felt really inspired. This is something I have to accomplish. The ideas are still there, just need to find the time and concentration to sit down and do it.
My list is completed. I hesitated for a long time to put down number 43, but now it is done. Thinking about this one makes me smile and upset at the same time. There is very few people in the world who are able to achieve such a goal but there is some,, I get happy to think that somehow I could be one of them and live the life like I always wanted to, but I get upset to think how difficult it seems to actually make it happen. But life is not supposed to be easy and it will be easier to enjoy it having struggled a bit on the way, right?
Now I just need some luck, hard work (I guess), determination, courage and the vision that “nothing’s impossible”
If you can help me to make it happen faster I will be here at your disposal.
