Is my dream and my nightmare. I have a tendency to eat whatever I want, and then dramatically change my diet to shed the pounds. Last time I lost 25 lbs it took about a month and a half…maybe less. Not totally healthy. At this point, I would just like to be healthier. Since meeting my boyfriend, and stocking my fridge for him, I’ve gained about 15 lbs in the last year or so. My eating habits are significantly altered by his. Also, being in my senior year of college and having a part time job, regular work outs are just not on the menu.
My goal is to lose about 10 lbs by the end of winter quarter, and the remaining 15 by the end of spring/beginning of summer. I’m excluding terrible foods from my diet (i.e. fried, no no), subbing in things like soup for mac n cheese, and cutting down on drinking. I have a feeling the alcohol (again…college kid) has a lot to do with my weight gain. Since I can’t make work out commitments, I AM committed to pulling out my dance dance revolution game pad at least every other day to give myself a good boost. I also walk (quickly, because I am always running late) to school every day, and I can already tell it’s doing some good.
This is about as rigorous as my weight loss schedule can be at this point. Here’s to hoping!
