After having minor surgery that is taking months and months to heal I have realised that I really took my health for granted. I want to, after realising how fortunate I was, regain that fitness and then some.
In secondary school where we were forced to do this thing called the 12 minute run where we ran this small circuit over and over for 12 minutes. It was horrible but one time the teacher said that time was nearly up and I suddenly got a load of energy from nowhere and sprinted the last 2 mins. I really want that again.
