Eclectisism

I’m not being very organized about this, but there are so many books that it almost doesn’t matter.
So far, I’ve read Siddhartha, a whole bunch of Steinbeck, Brave New World, Their Eyes Were Watching God and some others that I can’t recall at the moment. I tried some Hemingway (Old Man in the Sea and Garden of Eden) without much luck. Any recommendations?
Currently, I’m reading the Communist Manifesto and Nelson Mandela’s autobiography. I’m looking forward to reading more Huxley, and I want to read the Uphanishads, as well as The Enchanted April

After recovering from the food poisoning, things are going well again! I love running when it’s so cold outside, though I’m a little worried that the forthcoming snow is going to be a problem, I’m generally upbeat. I look forward to the days I’m scheduled to run, which is nice :)

Okay, I’m making an effort, which is much more than I’ve done in a while.
I’m at college and they aren’t (obviously), but I wrote my mom a really long email explaining a) my beliefs about why we don’t get along b) what’s going on in my life currently. She seemed to appreciate my sincerity and the effort, so maybe this will help.
(cross your fingers for me…)
