I’ve met a number of my online friends in person. A few of them I now see almost as much in person as I do online and I hardly stop to think how I met them in the first place. I’ve stayed over at their houses and they’ve stayed at mine or know that they are welcome to do so.

Intitially the friends I’ve met were made either through online games that I play or internet communities of various kinds so I had “spoken” to them for a long time before meeting them.

I definitely encourage anyone to meet up with their online friends. It will give you another dimension to explore your friendships and will undoubtedly lead to even more fun.

I’ve been going the past few years now. I have friends who exhibit and have even been a guest at a table once. It’s a lot of fun and one can meet great people.

Once you start you won’t be able to stop ;)
