the day's slacking

I set my line up today in the park & had a really good run. Mounting has become loads easier, and though walking is still a challenge, I occasionally walk the full length of the line, walk backwards a few steps, and today I even turned around a couple of times. Slacklining is loads of fun & also a great mid-back workout. I’m looking forward to getting better and trying more advanced moves.

love it!

This is the best! I got my kit in last week & my wife & I have been having a blast falling off of it. I haven’t been able to manage more than a few steps, but it is still tons of fun. I can’t wait to set it back up tomorrow!

Run 520 miles (read all 2 entries…)
74.6

I’m a bit behind for the year, but I’m sticking with it. I need to maintain about 44 miles a month to reach my goal and so far I managed 31.3, 35.9, and 7.4 (current month), putting me at 74.6 for the year thus far. That means I’m about 23.4 miles short of were I need to be.

The good news is that the year is still young and I had two +10 weeks last month, so I’m confident that I’ll be able to keep my pace and make up the extra miles in the coming months.

Wish me luck!
