I just got married a few weeks ago. My wife and I now live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It’s beautiful here. The leaves are turning. It’s quite different from California but not so different that it’s weird. The best difference is the gas prices. In San Diego we were paying at least $2.65 per gallon. Here the most you have to pay is $2.20-ish.
Being married is great, just remember to take the “D” word (divorce) out of your vocabulary. If you have Christ in your life and he remains the center of your marriage until you die you you’ll be fine. Divorce always comes out of selfishness.

I started praying every morning and it became a habit. Now there’s hardly ever a time when I don’t wake up and feel like I need to pray.
