I might complete this goal some time soon. My sister is attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins, so maybe at some point while visiting her I could go up an easy 14er like Quandary Peak. I also would like to do some mountaineering in the Alps one day, nothing technical like the Matterhorn, but I think I’d like to hike (or ski) the Haute Route.

How I did it: I went to a clinic which specialized in a type of therapy called neurofeedback. At the beginning of the treatment, I went in to take cognitive tests, answer a questionnaire, and my brain was mapped using QEEG technology. The QEEG was used to identify which parts of my brain were more or less active than others. After that, they began the therapy. Basically, all I had to do was sit and watch a movie while hooked up to an EEG. When my brain… Read how I did it…
How I did it: To quite simply put it, all I did was find proper sounds that wake me up. One of them is a Spaceship warning alarm, which goes "BEEP BEEP Warning!" over and over again. Another is the song "Brodyquest" by Lemon Demon. Also, it helps a lot to switch your sound every few days. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went with my Boy Scout troop to the Current River in Missouri. It was awesome. I went in June of 2010, and back again in June 2011. I was the scout in charge on the second trip. Since I'm going to visit Missouri S&T in Rolla this fall, I'm planning to make a day trip on that river. Read how I did it…

After this past week, I have been to over half of all states by visiting Minnesota and South Dakota while driving to Fort Collins from Chicago to drop my sister off at CSU.

I might get to travel across the pond next summer. My school should be doing a trip. If it’s not Europe, it might be Australia, which would also be good because I have friends who live in Brisbane. I met them at Space Camp back in late June.
