Yes, it does hurt, it’s a bit weird and uncomfortable and you may have to give up sandals for a while, but once you get past that, it’s an amazing feeling! There’s nothing like it. You MUST have strong ankles and be ok’ed before trying or attempting any pointe work, especially unsupervised. But in the end it will be one of your greatest accomplishments

I just saw Verekai this past weekend and it was amazing! The colors are so vibrant and it’s just so beautiful. Grant it, they did not do my favorite act which is the 4 girls in blue on the trapeze, but it was still great!!
