I really like reading, but I’m often too tired to read. When there’s school I read 3/4 books (in nine months!), while during summer I can read even 10/12 books in 3 months… So I decided to read one book every month. Or at least I’ll try XD

How I did it: I've studied Latin for two years at school: it was so interesting and passionating that I started studying the grammar all by myself, and reading the opera by Caesar, Cicero... Now I'm able to understand almost every latin text you could give me =)My next mission is learning ancient Greek: then some other ancient language (Old English or Aramaic, for example)... Read how I did it…
How I did it: This may sound stupid but I haven't done anything: I'm Italian, this means I've learnt this beautiful language when I was one year old XD You may say: "So you didn't achieve your goals" but that's not quite true: I've actually learnt Italian when I started considering it in a more analytical way, when I stopped talking and became more interested in the rules hidding behind the language. So it took me one year to learn Italian, but one yea… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well, when I was 8 my sister, who works in Paris, came home with a bunch of videogames all in French. At first she helped me, but when she left I had to understand all by myself... I guess I was helped by the fact that I'm Italian so the grammar and the words weren't to difficult to memorize: I got a grammar book, I asked my cousin - she speaks French fluently - to help me at the beginning and I started reading everything I could in this … Read how I did it…

I’m Italian, so I’m used to the fact that my language is completely useless if I want to travel… That’s why I’d like to speak a lot of languages!
My English and French are good and soon I’ll learn German at school; plus I understand Spanish (although I’m not a very good speaker…).
What I really want to do is learn these languages very well (almost as a native speaker), and learn another one: I’m very interested in Hungarian… We’ll see =)
I suffer from a lot of anxiety disorders, but now I’m getting used to them: plus, most of them aren’t really affecting my life. The only ones I really want to eliminate are:
- Arachnophobia and Entomophobia: this is really ruining me, because there’s nothing worse than having a panic attack at school, in the middle of a lesson! >///< Every kind of bug… bugs me: bees, beetles, flies, butterflies ecc. The ones I really hate are flies, bees and wasps °A°’
- Pedophobia: I can’t be around kids. The minute there’s a baby or something I get really nervous, always worried that he/she might want to play or talk to me…
- Acrophobia and Bathophobia: heights and depths are terrible. One metre is enough for me to get nervous!
- Nyctophobia: I always want light everywhere I go, and I never go out when it’s dark…
